NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ZONING CODE AMENDMENT:
DENSITY BONUS ORDINANCE
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Orange will hold a Public
Hearing at a Regular Meeting of the City Council on Tuesday, April 9, 2024, at 6:00 p.m., or as
soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, at the City Council Chamber, 300 E. Chapman Avenue,
Orange to consider the following request:
SUBJECT: An amendment to Chapter 17.15 of the Orange Municipal Code to incorporate the
provisions of Government Code Section 65915, et. seq by reference to establish consistency with
State Density Bonus Law.
APPLICANT: City of Orange
LOCATION: Citywide
ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION: This action is exempt from the California Environmental
Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to State CEQA Guidelines Section 15378 (Common Sense
Exemption) because it will not have a direct or reasonably foreseeable indirect physical change on
the environment and is not a “project.” For this reason, no further CEQA documentation is required.
