NOTICE OF UNSCHEDULED VACANCY
Community Development Block Grant Program Committee
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN, pursuant to California Government Code §54974, that an
unscheduled vacancy exists on the Community Development Block Grant (CDBG)
Program Committee due to the resignation of Brendon Moeller. The unexpired term ends
on June 30, 2025. The successful appointee will be required to file a Statement of
Economic Interest (Form 700) within 30 days of assuming office. In addition, AB1234
Ethics Education and AB1661 Sexual Harassment Avoidance Training certificates are
required.
The CDBG Program Committee is an advisory committee whose primary purpose is to
make recommendations on the use of federal funded Community Development Block
Grant funding and affordable housing programs.
Qualifications: Committee members must reside in the City of Orange. In addition,
members should show an interest in and have knowledge of housing and community
development issues, especially as they relate to affordable housing and public services
for low and moderate income Orange residents.
Meetings: This Committee meets on the second Thursday of February and March at 6:00
p.m.
Application Deadline: Open until filled. In accordance with Govt. Code 54974, final
appointment to the board shall not be made by the City Council for at least 10 business
days after the posting of this notice.
