9-7-2023 LOMITA LOT 4 NOTICE OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR ACTION TO: All Interested Parties PROJECT TITLE: MINOR SITE PLAN REVIEW NO. 1145-23 REINSTATING ADMINISTRATIVE DESIGN REVIEW NO. 0105-18 AND MINOR SITE PLAN REVIEW NO. 0949-18 – LOMITA LOT 4 PROJECT PROPONENT: Jaisim Das PROJECT LOCATION: 5212 E. Lomita Avenue (APN: 379-141-44) PROJECT DESCRIPTION: A request to reinstate Administrative Design Review No. 0105-18 and Minor Site Plan Review No. 0949-18 allowing the construction of a new 4,534-square foot single-family residence on a .45-acre lot located at 5212 E. Lomita Avenue. DATE OF COMMUNITY DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR ACTION: On or around September 18, 2023, the City of Orange Community Development Director will take action to approve the application Minor Site Plan Review No. 1145-23 reinstating previously approved and expired Administrative Design Review No. 0105-18 and Minor Site Plan Review No. 0949-18. ENVIRONMENTAL REVIEW: This project is categorically exempt from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) per State CEQA Section 15303 (Class 3) – New Construction or Conversion of Small Structures as the application consists of the construction of a single-family residence in a residential zone. RIGHT OF APPEAL: Any action taken by the Community Development Director in the administration or enforcement of the provisions of the Orange Municipal Code may be appealed by any person aggrieved, or by an officer, commission or department of the City. Such appeals may be made to the Planning Commission. Any appeal shall be filed within fifteen (15) calendar days after the hearing or action from which the appeal is made.
