RES-11462 REPORT OF ANNUAL FIRE INSPECTIONSRESOLUTION NO. 11462
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ORANGE ACKNOWLEDGING RECEIPT
OF A REPORT MADE BY THE ORANGE CITY FIRE
DEPARTMENT REGARDING PERFORMANCE OF
CERTAIN REQUIRED ANNUAL INSPECTIONS
WHEREAS,existing law requires the chief off any city or county fire department or distric
providing fire protection services, and his or her authorized representatives, to inspect ever
building used as a public or private school within the jurisdiction, for the purpose of enforcin
specified building standards,not less than once each year; and
WHEREAS, existing law requires every city or county fire department or distric
providing fire protection services that is required to enforce specified building standards t
annually inspect certain structures,including hotels,motels,lodging houses,and apartment house
for compliance with building standards, as provided; and
WHEREAS, California Health and Safety Code Section 13146.4 requires every fir
department or fire district required to perform such annual inspections to report annually to it
administering authority on its compliance with conducting those annual inspections.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Orang
acknowledges the staff report received from the Orange City Fire Department is in complianc
with Health and Safety Code Section 13146.4.
