NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ORANGE MUNICIPAL CODE AMENDMENT:
MEMBERSHIP OF BOARDS, COMMITTEES AND COMMISSIONS
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Orange will hold a Public
Hearing at a Regular Meeting of the City Council on Tuesday, March 14, 2023, at 6:00 p.m., or as
soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, at the City Council Chamber, 300 E. Chapman Avenue,
Orange to consider the following request:
SUBJECT: Approval of ordinance revising the Municipal Code to increase the membership of
applicable boards, committees and commissions to seven members, making related administrative
revisions.
APPLICANT: City of Orange
LOCATION: Citywide
ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION: This action is exempt from the California Environmental
Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Sections 15060(c)(2), 15060(c)(3), 15061(b)(3) and 15378 of the
state CEQA Guidelines because it will not result in a direct or reasonably foreseeable indirect
physical change in the environment and is not a “project.” For this reason, no further CEQA
documentation is required.

any relevant matter relating to the proposed action by mail, email, voicemail or in-person, as set forth
