11-15-22 Overlay Zone OrdinanceCITY OF ORANGE NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING ZONING CODE AMENDMENT: NEIGHBORHOOD PRESERVATION OVERLAY DISTRICT NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Orange will hold a Public Hearing,Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, at the City Council Chamber, 300 E. Chapman Avenue, Orange to consider the following request: SUBJECT: Approval of ordinance revising the Zoning Code to establish a Neighborhood Preservation Overlay District and related development standards for specified projects adding bedrooms or bathrooms to a primary residence. APPLICANT: City of Orange LOCATION: Neighborhood Preservation Overlay District bounded by Katella Avenue to the north, Main Street to the west, SR 55 to the east, and SR 22/Fairhaven Avenue to the south ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION: This action is exempt from the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to (1) Section 15061(b)(3) of the state CEQA Guidelines (Common Sense Exemption) because it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that it would have a significant effect on the environment; and (2) Section 15378 because it will not have a direct or reasonably foreseeable indirect physical change on the environment and is not a "project."
