NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
ZONING CODE ADMINISTRATIVE UPDATES
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Orange will hold a Public
Hearing Tuesday, November 15, 2022, at 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be
heard, in the City Council Chamber, 300 E. Chapman Avenue, Orange to consider the following
request:
SUBJECT: Approval of an update of various provisions of the Orange Municipal Code to delete
outdated language, update references to conform with current law and Code provisions and achieve
internal consistency.
APPLICANT: City of Orange
LOCATION: Citywide
ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION: The action is exempt from the California Environmental
Quality Act (CEQA) pursuant to Sections 15060(c)(2), 15060(c)(3) and 15061(b)(3) of the state
CEQA Guidelines because (1) the ordinance will not result in a direct or reasonably foreseeable
indirect physical change in the environment and it is not a "project" as defined in Guideline 15378;
and (2) it can be seen with certainty that there is no possibility that the revisions to the Zoning Code
would have a significant effect on the environment.For this reason, no further CEQA documentation
is required.
