DATE: MONDAY, NOVEMBER 7, 2022 TIME: 7:00 P.M. (or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard) SUBJECT: CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 3188-22 – ZINC CAFÉ PROPERTY 195 S. GLASSELL STREET, ORANGE, CA LOCATION: APN: 390-381-11 REQUEST: A request for a State of California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) Type 47 License (On Sale General – Eating Place) for a 3,045 square foot building. Additionally, there is an existing 605 square foot outdoor patio area and a proposed 695 square foot removeable outdoor dining area along the south side of the building. ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION: The proposed project is categorically exempt from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) per State CEQA Guidelines 15301 (Class 1 – Existing Facilities) because the project consists of licensing of alcohol service for a restaurant in an existing commercial building, consistent with the property’s zoning and General Plan designation. There is no public environmental review required.
