REQUEST: A request to allow an accessory commercial recreation facility use, axe
throwing, within an existing full service restaurant.
ENVIRONMENTAL
INFORMATION: The proposed project is categorically exempt from the provisions of the
California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) per State CEQA Guidelines
Section 15301 (Class 1 – Existing Facilities) because the request consists
of the addition of an accessory commercial recreation use within an existing
restaurant area and results in no physical expansion of the use beyond that
existing at the time of the City’s determination. No public review is required
for a categorical exemption.
