10-11-22 1st Amendment Action Plan PH ContinuedCITY OF ORANGE NOTICE OF CONTINUED PUBLIC HEARING SUBSTANTIAL 1st AMENDMENT TO FISCAL YEAR 2022-23 ANNUAL ACTION PLAN NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Orange will hold a public hearing, Tuesday, October 11, 2022, at 6:00 p.m., or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard, in the Council Chambers located at 300 E. Chapman Avenue, Orange, California, to review and approve the Substantial 1st Amendment to the Fiscal Year 2022-2023 Action Plan. The Public Hearing is continued from the September 13, 2022 City Council Meeting. The City is proposing to allocate $651,244 in HOME funds to the Villa St. Joseph Project to be located at 480 S. Batavia Street. The proposed development consists of converting an existing vacant convent into a 3-story building with 50 affordable dwelling units for Seniors 62 and older. 30-Day Public Review of the Substantial 1st Amendment to the 2022-23 Annual Action Plan (Extended) Copies of the Draft Substantial 1st Amendment to the 2022-2023 Action Plan will be available at the following locations for an additional 12-day public review process from September 29, 2022 to October 10, 2022.
