REQUEST: A request for the modification of an existing State of California Department
of Alcoholic Beverage Control (ABC) license Type 48 (On-Sale General –
Public Premises) to allow the consumption of alcoholic beverages in an
existing outdoor patio area located at the rear of the existing establishment.
ENVIRONMENTAL
INFORMATION: The proposed project is categorically exempt from the provisions of the
California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) per State CEQA Guidelines
Section 15301 (Class 1 – Existing Facilities) because the request consists
of the modification of an existing license for the consumption of alcoholic
beverages in an existing outdoor patio area located at the rear of the
establishment and results in no physical expansion of the use beyond that
existing at the time of the City’s determination. No public review is required
for a categorical exemption.
