A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ORANGE AMENDING RESOLUTION
NO. 11359 TO ADD A NEW CLASSIFICATION TO
THE CLASSIFICATION, COMPENSATION, AND
TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT FOR PART-TIME
AND SEASONAL EMPLOYEES OF THE CITY OF
ORANGE
WHEREAS, the City of Orange ("City") and the employees described herein have an
existing Resolution that set forth the wages,hours and conditions of employment for the employees
described therein; and
WHEREAS, the Ambulance Operator classification is being proposed by City staff
effective July 1, 2022; and
WHEREAS, the classification of Ambulance Operator needs to be established with a
commensurate salary range within the Part-time and Seasonal Employees Resolution; and
WHEREAS,the salary range for this classification must be authorized by the City Council
and published by the City in order for the salary range to be considered pension-reportable,
pursuant to CalPERS law.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Orange
that the attached Part-time and Seasonal Employees salary tables effective December 5, 2021, are
amended effective July 1, 2022, to include the new classification of Ambulance Operator
incorporated by reference as Appendix"A."
ADOPTED this 14th day of June 2022.
