PROPERTY 1234 N. MAIN STREET,
LOCATION ORANGE, CA (APN: 375-302-16)
REQUEST: A request to renovate an existing gas station and automatic car wash to
include an expansion of the convenience store, modification of car wash
queue, construction a new 560 square foot freestanding canopy and 60
square foot kiosk, installation self-serve vacuums and related site
improvement.
ENVIRONMENTAL
INFORMATION The proposed project is categorically exempt from the provisions of the
California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) per State CEQA Guidelines
15303 (Class 3 - New Construction or Conversion of Small Structures)
because the project involve minor site modifications and additions totaling
903 square feet to an existing service station and car wash on a site zoned
for such use, not involving the significant use of hazardous substances,
where all necessary public services are available and where the area is not
environmentally sensitive. There is no environmental public review or notice
required for a categorical exemption.
