NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING
REDISTRICTING OF CITY COUNCIL ELECTION DISTRICT BOUNDARIES
NOTICE IS HEREBY GIVEN that the City Council of the City of Orange will conduct a public
hearing per Elections Code Section 21607.1, at a regular meeting on Tuesday, February 8, 2022 at
6:00 p.m., with the public hearing being held at 7:00 p.m. or as reasonably practical thereafter, at
Orange City Hall in the City Council Chamber located at 300 East Chapman Avenue, Orange, CA 92866,
to review and discuss focus maps, revisions to the focus maps, and new draft maps submitted by the
public or created by the demographic consultant to date. The City Council may choose to select a district
map at this time.
All interested persons are invited to attend said hearing and express their views and comments relating
to this matter. Written comments may be filed with the City Clerk by emailing
ccpubliccomment@cityoforange.org or by mailing correspondence to 300 E. Chapman Avenue, Orange,
CA 92866.
Please contact the City Manager’s Office at (714) 744-2222 if live translation services are needed for
this hearing or if a reasonable accommodation in accordance with the Americans with Disabilities Act
is needed. Notification 72 hours prior to the meeting will enable the City to make reasonable
arrangements.
If you challenge this action in court, you may be limited to raising only those issues you or someone else
raised at the public hearing described in this notice, or in written correspondence deliver ed to the City
