A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ORANGE AGREEING TO A REDISTRIBUTION
OF PROPERTY TAXES FOR ANNEXATION NO, 392
FAIRHAVEN ISLANDS - AREA B).WHEREAS,
property owners and registered voters have requested annexation of
an area located northerly of Fairhaven Avenue between Yorba Street and Laurinda Lane
identified as Fairhaven Islands - Area B; and WHEREAS, Section
99 (b) of the Revenue and Taxation Code requires jurisdictions involved
in any jurisdiction change to agree to a property tax redistribution prior to
the change becoming complete; and WHEREAS, the
City of Orange and the County of Orange have agreed to a Master Property
Tax Transfer Agreement establishing a formula for said redistribution;and WHEREAS,
Annexation
No, 392 does meet the criteria for a developed Annexation as
described in the Master Property Tax Transfer Agreement;NOW, THEREFORE,
BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of Orange does
hereby agree to a redistribution of property tax for Annexation No. 392 pursuant to
the developed provisions of the Master Property Tax Transfer Agreement.ADOPTED this
