1. OPENING
The Traffic Commission of the City of Orange, California convened on August 11,
2021, at 5:30 p.m. in a Regular Meeting in the Council Chamber, 300 E. Chapman
Avenue, Orange, California.
1.1 CALL TO ORDER
Chair Beil called the meeting to order at 5:30 p.m.

Commissioner Vaughan led the flag salute.

Present: Beil, Feliz, Vauqhan, and Ricci
Absent: Dick
2. PUBLIC COMMENT
None.
3. CONSENT CALENDAR
3.1. Approval of ineeting minutes of the Traffic Commission of the City of Orange for the
June 9, 2021, Regular Meeting.
ACTION: A motion was made by Chair Biel, seconded by Vice Chair Feliz, to approve
the Consent Calendar as presented. The motion carried by the following vote:
Ayes: Beil, Feliz, and Vauqhan
Noes: None
Absent: Dick
Abstain: Ricci
4. CONSIDERATION ITEMS
4.1. Request for a cargo loading zone in front of the FairField Apartments at 850 West Town
and Country Road.
Chair Beil opened the public comments:
The following people spoke generally in favor of the item:
• Trevor Boucher
A motion was made by Commissioner Vaughan, Seconded by Vice Chair Feliz, to
approve a cargo loading zone in front of the FairField Apartments at 850 West Town

The motion carried by the following vote:
Aves: Feliz, Vauqhan, Ricci, and Beil
Noes: None
Absent: Dick
4.2. Request for red curb markings on both sides of the alley driveway at 320 South Olive
Street.
Chair Beil opened the public comments:
The following people spoke generally against the item:
• Sergio Zapata
A motion was made by Commission Vaughan, seconded by Commissioner Ricci, to
deny the request for red curb markings on both sides of the alley driveway at 320
South Olive Street.
The motion carried by the following vote:
Aves: Feliz, Vauqhan, Ricci, and Beil
Noes: None
Absent: Dick
4.3. Request for blue curb on Sycamore Avenue adjacent to the property at 375 North
Citrus Street.
A motion was made by Commissioner Vaughan, seconded by Vice Chair Feliz to
approve a blue curb on Sycamore Avenue adjacent to the property at 375 Citrus
Street.
The motion carried by the following vote:
Aves: Feliz, Vauqhan, Ricci, and Beil
Noes: None
Absent: Dick

6. ADJOURNMENT
There being no further business, the meeting was adjourned 6:13 p.m
