LOCATION: 167 N. Atchison Street
REQUEST: A proposal for the renovation of two existing buildings to accommodate
museum expansion and ancillary uses, partial conversion of the existing
parking area into a new open-air courtyard open to public, and installation
of new landscape, hardscape, and public art and light well elements.
ENVIRONMENTAL
INFORMATION: The proposed project is categorically exempt from the provisions of the
California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) per State CEQA
Guidelines 15301 (Class 1 - Existing Facilities) because the project
consists of modifications to existing commercial buildings and
landscaping, consistent with the property’s zoning and General Plan
designation.
