CHAPMAN AVENUE, ORANGE, CA LOCATION: REQUEST: A request for a State of California Department of Alcoholic Beverage Control Type 47 License (On Sale General – Eating Place) for a 6,535 SF restaurant with 3,710 SF patio. ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION: The proposed project is categorically exempt from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) per State CEQA Guidelines 15301 (Class 1 – Existing Facilities) because the project consists of licensing of alcohol service for a restaurant in an existing commercial building, consistent with the property’s zoning and General Plan designation. There is no public environmental review required.
