CAMBRIDGE STREET LOCATION: REQUEST:A proposal for demolition of a non-contributing accessory building and carport and construction of a 1,014 square foot, 1 ½ story addition to a single-family residence and a new two-car garage in the Old Towne Historic District. ENVIRONMENTAL INFORMATION:The proposed project is categorically exempt from the provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) per State CEQA Guidelines 15301 (Class 1 - Existing Facilities) because the project consists of modifications to an existing single-family residence, consistent with the property’s zoning and General Plan designation and 15302 (Class 2 – Replacement or Reconstruction) because the project includes replacement of an existing accessory building and carport with a new detached garage of similar size and use.
