Almond Avenue The subject area is located on Almon d Avenue Request for No Parking for Street one block south of Chapman Avenue and includes Sweeping Purposes the f irst two blocks west of Main Street. Sara Hazlewood The subject area is 90% residential (some 1521 W. Almond Avenue commercial concerns exist on the corners of Orange, CA 92668 Almond Avenue and Main Street) with the bulk consisting of multi-family dwelling units. RECOMMENDATION: Deny at this time. There are approximately 120 residences within Investigate a larger area for the limits of the subject area. Much of the posting. on-street parking is heavily utilized although garage facilities are provided for the area. There are some total parking prohibitions in effect on Almond Avenue. The area under con- sideration for posting of the No Parking 7 a.m. - 11 a.m. on Tuesdays restriction is mostly multi-family dwelling units. The available on-street parking is heavily utilized '�'he residential neighborhood interfaces with a private school (Page School) and two business concerns, a bank and a restaurant. The streets are not being swept because of the abundance of on-street parking that occurs during the scheduled time for street sweeping.
