Proposed educational facility expansion of an existing church
1855 Orange Olive Road
DRC Action: Recommendation to Planning Commission
The project was presented by the project architect Mr. Greg Lefler. This is a proposal to
expand an existing church school facility in two phases. The first phase includes the addition of
two modular buildings and a building addition. The second phase includes the demolition and
reconstruction of an existing building that was previously owned by another church. The
architecture of the new building including exterior finish materials and paint colors will be
consistent with the existing. The modular buildings will be removed after completion of the
second phase construction.
Leonard Filner asked if some of the existing queen palms are being affected by this project?
Mr. Lefler stated that the buildings are setback away to help preserve the existing palm trees.

well landscaped with several matured trees through out the site.
