A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ORANGE APPROVING LOT LINE ADJUSTMENT
LL-2001-11 ADJUSTING LOT LINES
OF CERTAIN REAL PROPERTY DESCRIBED AS 2156 AND
2160 N.BATAVIA STREET. (PARCELS 1 AND 2 IN
THE CITY 011 ORANGE, COUNTY OF ORANGE.
STATE OF CALIFORNIA, AS PER MAP FILED IN BOOK
55, PAGE 27 OF PARCEL MAPS, IN THE OFFICES
OF THE COUNTY RECORDER OF
SAID COUNTY).WHEREAS, Section 66412 (d) of the Subdivision Map Act makes provisions
for the Council to approve lot line adjustments by resolution where the land taken from one
parcel is added to an adjacent parcel and where a greater number of parcels than originally existed
is not thereby
created; and WHEREAS, the City Council has enacted Orange Municipal CodeSections 16.
32.010 et seq., which provide the procedure to be followed for the approval of said lot
line
adjustment;and WHEREAS, the Subdivision Section of the Public Works Department and
the Staff Review Committee have reviewed and recommended approval of Lot Line Adjustment
No. LL 2001-11 and have made a finding that the real property situated at 2156 and 2 i ,
jO N. Bat",)"Street in the City of Orange, described as Parcels 1 through 2 in Exhibit "A" attached
hereto lU".d graphically depicted on the map attached hereto as Exhibit "B", complies with
the provisions ofthe Califonna Sul::di":isicn !\13.p Act and ~~1 2ppJic~_b~~ City of
Orange ordinances and regulations, including the requirements for
building sites; and WHEREAS, the Subdivision Section of the Public Works Department
and the Staff Review Committee have made
the following findings:1. That the proposal is eligible for processing as
a lot line adjustment pursuant to Section 66412 of
the
Subdivision Map Act;2.That the requirements of the
California Environmental Quality Act
have been met;3. That the proposal is consistent with the
General Plan; and 4. That the resultant parcels will meet the
requirements of
the Zoning ~crle.PAGE
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council hereby concurs in
the above findings; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the proposed Lot Line Adjustment No. LL
2001-11, as shown on Exhibits "A" and "B" to this Resolution, be approved;
and BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed 0 <.:ause this Resolution 10 be recorded in the Office oftlle Orange County
Recorder.ADOPTED this 25th day of September,
