A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ORANGE ACCEPTING THE
COMPLETION OF A CERTAIN PUBLIC WORKS
AND IMPROVEMENTS; NAMELY, THE
INSTALLATION OF TOT LOT EQUIPMENT AT LA
VETA, EISENHOWER AND HART PARKS (RFP
001-24 AND BID NO.
001-40).WHEREAS, pursuant to a contract with the City of Orange, Coast
Recreation, Inc,has completed the installation of tot lot equipment at La Veta and Eisenhower Parks
to the satisfaction of the City of
Orange; and WHEREAS, pursuant to a contract with the City of Orange, Park
Specialties has completed the installation of tot lot equipment at Hart Park to the satisfaction of the
City of
Orange; and WHEREAS, the Director of Community and Library Services of the City
of Orange,who is responsible for the prosecution and completion of the work of
improvements under the above-referenced two contracts, has duly certified to the construction
and completion of said public improvement in accordance with the provisions of those contracts
and the related
contract documents; and WHEREAS, this City Council desires to accept as complete the
public works and improvements more particularly described under said contracts and to cause to
be filed and recorded in the Official Records of Orange County a Notice of
Completion and Acceptance of said public works and improvements and to authorize payment of the balance
due to the respective contractors in accordance with the terms and provisions
ofthe respective contracts,NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of
the City of Orange that said public works and improvements are hereby accepted
as being complete,BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Mayor and the City
Clerk are hereby authorized to execute and file a Notice of Completion and Acceptance of
said public works and improvements described herein as
required
by law,ADOPTED this 28th day of
August 2001.e City
