A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ORANGE EXPRESSING APPRECIATION
AND COMMENDING RANDY BOSCH FOR
FOURTEEN YEARS OF CONTINUOUS SERVICE
ON THE PLANNING COMMISSION
WHEREAS, Randy Bosch was appointed by Councilmember Joanne Coontz to
the Planning Commission on January 20,1987; and
WHEREAS, it soon became obvious that the choice of an architect and someone
with an unlimited vocabulary was the perfect combination to build a Commission
Chairman; and
WHEREAS, Randy served as Chairman for the last consecutive ten years for a
total of eleven terms as Chairman; and
WHEREAS, the native son of a pioneer family has undeniably improved the
quality oflife for every citizen in Orange through his dedication to his position; and
WHEREAS, Randy's vision for what is best for the City of Orange has
influenced every decision he has made with the Commission and was equally eloquently
bestowed upon the public; and
WHEREAS, Randy has promised to continue to freely promote the City's best
interests in new forums guaranteed to provoke thought on important issues; and
NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City of
Orange releases Randy from the confines of his role as PLANNING COMMISSIONER
allowing him to pursue his altruistic calling to seek the best for the citizens of Orange.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of Orange,
without reservation, appreciates and commends Randy Bosch for his fourteen years of
exemplary service as a Planning Commissioner.
