A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ORANGE DESIGNATING CERTAIN
PORTIONS OF LAURINDA LANE WITHIN THE
CITY OF ORANGE AS A COUNTY OF ORANGE
HIGHWAY FOR THE PURPOSE OF STORM DRAIN
CONSTRUCTION IMPROVEMENTS.
WHEREAS, portions of Laurinda Lane from Fairhaven Avenue to 153 feet north
of centerline of Fairhaven Avenue lie within the City of Orange city limits and are
proposed to receive storm drain piping and catch basing improvements,
WHEREAS, the County of Orange has finalized the plans and specifications for
the Fairhaven Avenue Storm Drain Project, from Prospect Street to Laurinda Lane and has
agreed to cooperate with the City of Orange and b(: the lead agency for including the
portion of storm drain improvements within the City of Orange with its project,
WHEREAS, the City of Orange concurs with said improvements by the County of
Orange and thereby consents to the establishments of said portion of Laurinda Lane that is
within the City of Orange, as a County of Orange highway for purposes of construction
during the period of improvement by the County of Orange.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED in furtherance of the mutual
agreemem authorized by Section IS07 of the Street and Highways Code, all of that portion
of Laurinda Lane from Fairhaven Avenue to 153 feet north of centerline of Fairhaven
Avenue is hereby declared to be a County of Orange highway for purposes of construction
during the period of improvement by the County of Orange.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City Council of the
City of Orange be and is hereby authorized and directed to transmit to the Orange County
Board of Supervisors a certified copy of this resolution.
ADOPTED this 13th day of August, 2002.
