A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ORANGE DESIGNATING CERTAIN
PORTIONS OF WANDA ROAD WITHIN THE CITY
OF VILLA PARK AS A CITY OF ORANGE
HIGHWAY FOR THE PURPOSE OF
CONSTRUCTION IMPROVEMENTS
LOCATION: 660 FT. NORTH OF KATELLA
AVENUE TO SANTIAGO BOULEVARD
WHEREAS, portions of Wanda Road from 660 ft. north of Katella Avenue to Santiago
Boulevard lie within the City of Villa Park city limits and are in need of rehabilitation; and
WHEREAS, the City of Orange has finalized the plans and specifications for the
rehabilitation of Wanda Road from Katella Avenue to Santiago Boulevard and has agreed to
cooperalte with the City of Villa Park and be the lead agency for including the rehabilitation work
within the City of Villa Park segment with its project; and
WHEREAS, the City of Villa Park concurs with said improvements by the City of Orange and
thereby consents to the establishments of said portion of Wanda Road that is within the City of Villa
Park, as a City of Orange roadway for purposes of construction during the period of improvement
by the City of Orange.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED in furtherance of the mutual agreement
authorized by Section 1807 of the Street and Highways Code, all of that portion of Wanda Road
from 660 ft. north of Katella Avenue to Santiago Boulevard is hereby declared to be a City of
Orange roadway for purposes of construction during the period of improvement by the City of
Orange.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk of the City Council of the City of
Orange be and is herby authorized and directed to transmit to the City Council of the City of
Villa Park a certified copy of this resolution and to request a reciprocal resolution.
ADOPTED this 9th day of July, 2002.
