A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ORANGE RECLASSIFYING TWO
POSITIONS WITHIN THE COMMUNITY
DEVELOPMENT DEPARTMENT - PLANNING DIVISION.
WHEREAS,
City staff recommends several staffing changes in Community Development
to better organize its Planning Division and serve the community more efficiently;and
WHEREAS,
the City Council desires the future employees In those positions be classified
and compensated accordingly,NOW,
THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Cowlcil of the City of Orange authorizes
staff to implement the following effective April 7, 2002:1.
Reclassify the following positions within the current FY 2001/02 budget and position control
system;Position

Cost: $20,840 2. Allow the Community Development Department to absorb the increased
costs for salaries md benefits within the current FY 2001/02 budget to pay for all
adjustments for the I:urrent
fiscal year; and 3. Incorporate funding of $20,840 within the proposed FY 2002/03
budget m the appropriate accounts to pay for these adjustments for the
next fiscal year.ADOPTED this 9th day
of April, 2002.
