A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ORANGE REVISING THE CONFLICT OF
INTEREST CODE FOR THE CITY OF ORANGE.
WHEREAS, the Political Reform Act, Government Code Sections 81000 et seq.,
requires the City to adopt and promulgate a conflict of interest code; and
WHEREAS, the City has complied with this requirement by adopting by reference the
model conflict of interest code developed by the Fair Political Practices Commission as the
Conflict of Interest Code for the City; and
WHEREAS, members of boards, committees and commissions who exercise decision-
making authority are subject to the Political Reform Act; and
WHEREAS, me City Council has determined that the Traffic Commission exercises
such decision-making
authority.NOW, THEID:FORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of me City of
Orange as
follows:I. The list of designated employees required to file statements of economic interests
is hereby amended to include members of the City of Orange Traffic
Commission.2. Traffic Commissioners shall complete and file an initial statement of economic
interest with the City
