A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ORANGE EXPRESSING APPRECIATION
TO FRANK R. GONZALEZ OF THE CITY OF
ORANGE FIRE DEPARTMENT AND COMMEND
HIM FOR MORE THAN TWENTY-SEVEN
YEARS OF LOYAL AND DEDICATED
SERVICE.WHEREAS, Frank R. Gonzalez began his career with the City of Orange
Fire Department on February 5, 1973 and was promoted to Fire Engineer after just a year
and one half, on August 8, 1974, and in October of 1985 was promoted to Captain;
and WHEREAS, Frank was noted by supervisors for always being
professional,having a positive attitude, cooperative spirit and being dependable;
and WHEREAS, Frank was always known for his many extra projects that he
would willingly volunteer for, from body work and paint jobs to preparing the new
Command Vehicle and making needed modifications to Station 7;
and WHEREAS, for these and many other reasons, Frank will be
missed.NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, I, Mark A. Murphy, Mayor of
the City of Orange, on behalf of the entire City Council, recognize and congratulate Frank
R.Gonzalez for his twenty-seven years of loyal and dedicated service to the City
of Orange and that the City Council on behalf of all the citizens of Orange wish Frank and
his wife Libby, a long, happy, and
healthy retirement.ADOPTED this 23rd day of
