A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ORANGE EXPRESSING APPRECIATION
TO ROBERT L. DOTSON OF THE CITY OF
ORANGE FIRE DEPARTMENT AND COMMEND
HIM FOR MORE THAN THIRTY YEARS OF
LOYAL AND DEDICATED SERVICE.
WHEREAS, Robert L. Dotson began his career as a fireman with the City of
Orange Fire Department on October 15, 1971; and
WHEREAS, Bob worked as a fireman for eight years and was promoted to the
rank of Fire Engineer; and
WHEREAS, Bob has always been known as a good Engineer, solid and
dependable and also cooperative and easy to work with; and
WHEREAS, Bob who loves surfing, fishing, and motorcycle riding, was well
known for his long-term relationships with several of his co-workers and will
be missed.NOW THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, I, Mark A. Murphy, Mayor
of the City of Orange, on behalf of the entire City Council, recognize and
congratulate Robert L. Dotson for this thirty years of loyal and dedicated service to the City of
Orange and that the City Council on behalf of all the citizens of Orange wish him and his wife
Sue a long, happy and
healthy retirement.ADOPTED this 23rd day of
