Jensen declaring posting of City Council agenda of an adjourned regular meeting of May 4, 1993, at Orange Civic Center, Main Library, Police facility at 1107 North Batavia and the Eisenhower Park Bulletin Board; all of said locations being in the City of Orange and freely accessible to members of the public at least 24 hours before commencement of said adjourned regular meeting.ACTION: Accepted Declaration of Agenda Posting and authorized its retention as a public record in the Office of the City Clerk.MOTION - Barrera SECOND - Spurgeon AYES - Spurgeon, Barrera, Mayor Beyer, Coontz, Murphy Item 2.1 was approved as recommended.END OF CONSENT CALENDAR 3. LEGAL AFFAIRS 8.1 RESOLUTION NO. 8181 A Resolution of the City Council of the City of Orange amending Resolution No. 7878 of the Executive Management, Staff Management and Labor Confidential outlining severence provIsIons. Discussion: The severence provisions will allow the targeted employees to leave City employment as soon as May 5, 1993, and receive approximately two months pay through June 30, 1993. Medical insurance benefits, costing approximately $27,000, will be paid through December 31, 1993. If the employees wish to work through June 30, 1993, they may; however, they are not entitled to the severence package. The Personnel Department is establishing a Outreach Placement Program to assist employees.
