A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ORANGE AMENDING AND
REVISING THE CITY OF ORANGE MANUAL
OF GRADING AS AUTHORIZED BY ORANGE
MUNICIPAL CODE CHAPTER 16.40.
WHEREAS, Orange Municipal Code Section 16.40.050 requires the City
Council to make changes to the City of Orange Manual of Grading by resolution; and
WHEREAS, the City requests amendrnents and revisions rnade to the Manual of
Grading to insure the City's obligations as co-permittee to the County's
National Pollutant Discharge Elimination System (NPDES) permit are met;
and WHEREAS, the arnendments and revisions proposed incorporate the
necessary requirements of the Water Quality and Storm Water Discharge Ordinance, as well
as other water quality requirements such as the Statewide Industrial and
Construction Permits into the City's Grading
Requirements.NOW, THEREFORE BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City
of Orange as
follows:I. That the foregoing recitals are true and
correct.2. The City Council hereby adopts the amendments and revisions to the
City of Orange Manual of Grading, attached hereto and incorporated herein, as if fully
set
