A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ORANGE EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO
MARK PAONE OF THE DESIGN REVIEW
COMMITTEE FOR OVER THREE YEARS OF
DEDICATED SERVICE.
WHEREAS, Mark Paone was appointed by the City Council to the Design Review
Committee on July 13, 1999.
During his three and a half years on the committee, Mark has provided valuable input
with thE: designs of significant projects throughout the City. Some of these projects included the
All Faiths Chapel at Chapman University, the main City library expansion, St. John's Lutheran
Church School expansion, St. Joseph's Hospital and various residential tracts.
Mark was well qualified to serve Oil the committee. He is both a licensed architect and
interior designer. He brought to the Committee a great sense of design and his comments were
always relevant.
Mark was a good listener, always sensitive to the applicant's concerns and the projects
were always improved by his insight and attention to detail.
Mark's knowledge, professionalism and attention to detail have contributed greatly to the
Design Review Committee. He was especially aware of the sensitive issues involving the Old
Towne District.
Even though Mark will no longer be serving on the Design Review Committee, he will
continue to be involved in the issues and concerns of the City of Orange.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Orange
that Mark Paone be congratulated for over three years of dedicated service to the Design Review
Committee, the Community Development Department and the City of Orange.
