A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ORANGE RESCINDING ITS REJECTION OF
AN IRREVOCABLE OFFER OF DEDICATION FOR DEL
RIO P ARKW A Y AND SAXON COURT AND ACCEPTING
ON BEHALF OF THE PUBLIC THE OFFER OF
DEDICATION FOR DEL RIO PARKWAY AND SAXON
COURT AS SHOWN ON PARCEL MAP NUMBER 2004-
302 IN THE CITY OF ORANGE, COUNTY OF ORANGE,
STATE OF CALIFORNIA.
WHEREAS, the City Council did approve Parcel Map Number 2004-302 on January
25, 2005 pursuant to Provisions of Section 66436 (a)(3)(A) of the Subdivision Map Act and
said map was recorded on May 18, 2005 in Book 343, Pages 22 through 28 of Maps in the
Office of the Orange County Recorder; and
WHEREAS, Del Rio Parkway and Saxon Court were irrevocably offered for
dedication to the public for street purposes on Parcel Map Number 2004-302; and
WHEREAS, the City Council did not accept the offer of dedication for Del Rio
Parkway and Saxon Court on Parcel Map Number 2004-302 as allowed by Section 66477.1
of the Subdivision Map Act; and
WHEREAS, Section 66477.2 (a) of the Subdivision Map Act makes provisions for
the City Council to rescind its rejection of the offer of dedication and accept the right of way;
and
WHEREAS, the Subdivision Section of the Public Works Department recommends
the acceptance on behalf of the public the dedication for street purposes of the right of way
for Del Rio Parkway and Saxon Court as offered on Parcel Map No. 2004-302; and
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council hereby concurs in
the above findings; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council accepts on behalf of the
public, subject to improvements, the dedication for street purposes of Del Rio Parkway and
Saxon Court as offered for dedication to the public on Parcel Map No. 2004-302 as recorded
on May 18, 2005 in Book 343, Pages 22 through 28 of Maps in the Office of the Orange
County Recorder; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to cause this Resolution to be recorded in the Office of the Orange County Recorder.
