A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF
THE CITY OF ORANGE EXPRESSING
APPRECIATION TO LINNEA A. FELTHAUS OF
THE PUBLIC WORKS DEPARTMENT WATER
DIVISION FOR MORE THAN 30 YEARS OF
LOYAL AND DEDICATED SERVICE.
WHEREAS, Linn Felthaus began her career with the City of Orange Library
in 1970 as an Intermediate Clerk, and
WHEREAS, Linn left the Library in 1979 to stay home with her son; and
WHEREAS, Linn returned to the City of Orange in February of 1984 as a
Finance Clerk III at the Water Department; and in 1987 she became a Senior Finance
Clerk, and
WHEREAS, Linn has received numerous commendations over the years from
Supervisors, fellow employees and customers alike for her excellent work product,
customer service, initiative and versatility and
WHEREAS, Linn has announced her decision to retire from the City of
Orange on September 9,2005 to pursue other interests.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the City
of Orange congratulates Linnea A. Felthaus for more than 30 years of loyal and
dedicated service to the citizens and City of Orange; and wishes Linn a long, happy,
healthy and fulfilling retirement.
