RES-9990 Cancellation of Special Tax Lien Community Facilities District 91-2 Serrano Heights Public ImprovementsRESOLUTION NO. 9990 I A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ORANGE DIRECTING THE EXECUTION OF A NOTICE OF CANCELLATION OF SPECIAL TAX LIEN RELATED TO COMMUNITY FACILITIES DISTRICT NO. 91-2 (SERRANO HEIGHTS PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS). WHEREAS, the City Council of the City of Orange (the City) has conducted proceedings under and pursuant to the Mello-Roos Community Facilities Act of 1982, as amended (the Act), to form the City of Orange Community Facilities District No. 91-2 (Serrano Heights Public Improvements) (the District), to authorize the levy of special taxes upon the land within the District, and to issue bonds secured by said special taxes to finance certain facilities; and WHEREAS, the current owner of one of the parcels of land (parcel number 370-420- 01) within the District has prepaid the special taxes to be levied within the District on such parcel; and WHEREAS, the City now desires to take the necessary actions to release the special tax lien imposed within the District on such parcel; and WHEREAS, in order to release said special tax lien, it will be necessary for the City to record a Notice of Cancellation of Special Tax Lien (the Notice), a copy of which Notice is on file with the City Clerk; and WHEREAS, this City Council now desires to direct the execution, delivery and recordation by the City Clerk of the Notice. NOW, THEREFORE, THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ORANGE DOES HEREBY RESOLVE AS FOLLOWS: Section 1. The Notice, in the form on file with the City Clerk, is hereby approved. The City Clerk is hereby authorized and directed to execute the Notice and to record (or cause to be recorded) the Notice in the office of the County Recorder of the County of Orange. I Section 2.
