A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ORANGE ESTABLISHING COMPENSATION
FOR THE PLANNING COMMISSION AND DESIGN
REVIEW COMMITTEE
WHEREAS, section 2.64.010 of the Orange Municipal Code establishes a
Planning Commission for the City of Orange and Section 17.08.020(D) of the Orange
Municipal Code establishes the Design Review Committee, and
WHEREAS, the Planning Commission and Design Review Committee each meet
at least twice monthly to carry out the duties assigned to them by the Orange MunicipalCode; and
WHEREAS, the compensation to the members of the Planning Commission and
Design Review Committee was last adjusted by the City Council in 1987 through minute
order and then subsequently formalized by Resolution No. 8366 in 1994; and
NOW, THERFORE, BE RESOLVED that the compensation to the members of
the Planning Commission shall be adjusted as follows:
60.00 per meeting attended with a maximum of$240.00 per month (an increase
of $20 per meeting)
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the compensation to the members of the
Design Review Committee shall be adjusted as follows:
50.00 per meeting attended with a maximum of$200.00 per month (an increase
of $1 0 per meeting)
