RES-10166 Amending Audit Committe MembershipRESOLUTION NO. 10166 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ORANGE AMENDING THE MEMBER- SHIP OF THE AUDIT COMMITTEE. WHEREAS, it has been proposed that the City Council of the City of Orange establish an Audit Committee to provide advice and recommendations and to assist the City Council in discharging its responsibilities for the overall stewardship of the City's financial affairs; and WHEREAS, the City Council, at its meeting of January 23, 2007, directed that the membership of the Audit Committee be revised to include two non-voting council members; and WHEREAS, the Mayor requested that committee appointments be done in the same manner as appointments to other City Council boards, committees and commission.NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of Orange as follows:Section 3 of the Rules and Regulations of the Audit shall be revised to read as follows:3. MEMBERSHIP AND APPOINTMENT The Audit Committee shall consist of seven voting members and two non-voting City Council members. The voting members shall include the City Manager, the Internal Audit Manager and five citizen representatives.
