A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ORANGE DECLARING PORTIONS OF
ORANGE PARK BOULEVARD, FROM THE
INTERSECTION OF MEADS AVENUE TO THE
INTERSECTION OF AMAPOLA AVENUE,
LOCATED WITHIN THE CITY OF ORANGE TO BE
COUNTY OF ORANGE HIGHWAYS DURING
CONSTRUCTION OF STORM DRAIN
IMPROVEMENTS AND ROADWAY
RESURFACING BY THE COUNTY OF ORANGE.
WHEREAS, Orange Park Boulevard is designated as a local street and is partially
located in the City of Orange; and
WHEREAS, the County of Orange is proposing to construct improvements to this
street, which improvements are located partially within the City of Orange and partially
located in unincorporated areas; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has determined the proposed improvements are
consistent with the City's General Plan.
NOW THEREFORE, the City Council of the City of Orange resolves and
determines as follows:
Section 1. Pursuant to Section 1700, Article 3, Chapter 9, Division 2 of the Streets
and Highways Code, this portion of Orange Park Boulevard located within the City of Orange
attached as Exhibit A) which are required for construction of the proposed storm drain
improvements and street improvements shall be County of Orange highways during the period
of project implementation by the County of Orange, pending the County Board of Supervisor's
resolution declaring the same.
Section 2. The proposed project is consistent with the objectives, policies,
general land uses, and programs specified by the City of Orange General Plan.
Section 3. The City Clerk is hereby directed to transmit a certified copy of this
Resolution to the Clerk of the Orange County Board of Supervisors.
