A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ORANGE EXPRESSING APPRECIATION
AND COMMENDING MIKE HAIRSTON FOR
NINE YEARS OF CONTINUOUS SERVICE ON THE
PARK PLANNING AND DEVELOPMENT
COMMISSION.
WHEREAS, Mike Hairston was appointed to the Park Planning and Development
Commission on May 09, 2000, serving as Vice-Chair of the Commission from July 2003
to July 2004, and Chairman from 2004 to 2005;
and WHEREAS, Mike Hairston was instrumental in reviewing, commenting and
voting on many projects, including the Tot-Lot Replacement Program, Hart Park
Building and Restroom Renovations, Hart Park Pool and Deck Replacement, Santiago Creek
Bike Trail,Santiago Creek Bridge, Y orba Dog Park, Grijalva park and Gymnasium, EI
Camino Real Park Renovation, and Killefer Park
Improvements; and WHEREAS, Mike has freely given of his time, efforts and dedication to the
City of Orange by not only being an integral part of the Commission but by
supporting community events and fund raisers for the enhancement of
the Community.NOW, THEREFORE BE, IT RESOLVED that the City Council of the
City of Orange releases Mike from the volunteer duties in his role as Park
Planning and Development Commission; allowing him to continue his pursuits as an active,
dedicated and
conscientious citizen.BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City
of Orange,without reservation, appreciates and commends Mike Hairston for his nine
years of exemplary service as a Park Planning and
Development Commissioner.ADOPTED this Ith day of
