SUBJECT: CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 3118-20 – OSTRAKA
CHARTER SCHOOL

LOCATION: 4100 E. Walnut Avenue
REQUEST: A request for a Conditional Use Permit to allow for an increase in
student enrollment for a new charter school for transitional
kindergarten through 5th grade at an existing vacant private
school campus (former El Dorado Emerson School). The
applicant is requesting an increase from the 300 students allo wed
under Conditional Use Permit No. 1872-90 for the previous
school to a new maximum of 360 students.
ENVIRONMENTAL
INFORMATION: Categorical Exemption: The proposed project is categorically
exempt per State CEQA Guidelines Section 15301 (Class 1 -
Existing Facilities) because the project consists of the expansion
of the number of allowed students. There is no environmental
public review required for a Categorical Exemption.
