A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ORANGE WAIVING THE STATUTORY
NOTICE BY THE STATE OF CALIFORNIA OF ITS
INTENT TO RELINQUISH RIGHT-
OF-WAY ALONG CHAPMAN AVENUE
NEAR ITS INTERSECTION WITH
THE SR55.WHEREAS, the State of California, Department of Transportation (
State) acquired title to certain parcels of land over and abutting Chapman Avenue near its
intersection with SR55 to complete highway
projects; and WHEREAS, the State wishes to relinquish its title to certain portions of
these parcels to the City of Orange as depicted in Exhibit A, attached hereto and
incorporated by
reference; and WHEREAS, Section 73 of the California Streets and Highways Code
requires that the State notify the City to whom the State intends to relinquish a highway of its
intent to do so not less than ninety (90) days before recordation of
such relinquishment.NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL
OF THE CITY OF ORANGE

n T'The City Council of the City of Orange hereby waives its right to receive
ninety days prior written notice by the State of its intent to relinquish to the City
the right-of--way depicted in Exhibit A pursuant to Section 73 of the California
Streets and
Highways Code.Section II:This Resolution shall take effect immediately upon its adoption
by the CityCouncil.ADOPTED this 22°d
