RES-10628 Federal Transportation Improvement Program ApprovalRESOLUTION NO. 10628 A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY OF ORANGE AFFIRMING ITS SUPPORT FOR THE 2012 -2016 FEDERAL TRANSPORTATION IMPROVEMENT PROGRAM AMENDMENTS APPROVED BY THE ORANGE COUNTY TRANSPORTATION AUTHORITY BOARD OF DIRECTORS ON DECEMBER 13, 2011. A resolution of the Orange City Council affirming its support for the Orange County Transportation Authority (OCTA) Federal Transportation Improvement Program (FTIP) amendments that were approved by the Orange County Transportation Authority Board of Directors on December 13, 2011. The City Council of the City of Orange hereby resolves, determines, and orders as follows that: a) WHEREAS, the City of Orange desires to implement the projects in OCTA's FTIP; and b) WHEREAS, the City of Orange has been declared by OCTA to meet the eligibility requirements to receive FTIP funds; and c) WHEREAS, the City's Circulation Element is consistent with the County of Orange Master Plan of Arterial Highways; and d) WHEREAS, the City of Orange will provide matching funds for each project as required by the Orange County Comprehensive Transportation Program Procedures Manual; and e) WHEREAS, OCTA intends to allocate funds for transportation improvement projects within the incorporated cities and the County; and f) WHEREAS, the City of Orange will not use Measure M funds to supplant Developer Fees or other commitments; and g) WHEREAS, the City of Orange as the Lead Agency, will comply with applicable provisions of the California Environmental Quality Act, the National Environmental Policy Act, the Americans with Disabilities Act, the Secretary of the Interior's Standards and Guidelines for Archaeology and Historic Preservation, and any other federal, State, and /or local laws, rules and regulations. NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED THAT: The City Council of the City of Orange hereby affirms its support for the FTIP amendments that were approved by OCTA's Board on December 13, 2011.
