A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ORANGE AMENDING RESOLUTION NO.
10589 FOR TOP MANAGEMENT EMPLOYEES.
WHEREAS, Resolution No. 10589 sets forth the terms and conditions of
employment for Executive Directors and Top Management employees as listed in such
resolution; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager, with City Council concurrence, has promoted the
interim Fire Chief, Patrick Dibb to Fire Chief; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager has discussed with the City Council the issue of
making an adjustment to the compensation rate for the Fire Chief; and
WHEREAS, the City Manager recommends the base salary range for Fire Chief be
increased by 6.0% to range 711;
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED by the City Council of the City of
Orange that the attached Exhibit "A" shall amend the Executive Management Team monthly
salary ranges within the current Top Management Salary Resolution No. 10589 regarding
compensation.

On May 8, 2012, the Police Chief's salary schedule was amended to reflect the actual base salary the Police Chief has been
receiving and the City has been reporting since June 20, 2010.By action of the City Council, the Police Chief's base salary was made
retroactive to the date ofJune 20, 2010 consistent with his current compensation.
