RES-10688 South Manchester Avenue Name ConfirmationRESOLUTION NO. 10688
A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE CITY
OF ORANGE TO CONFIRM THE CORRECT USE OF
THE STREET NAME SOUTH MANCHESTER AVENUE.
WHEREAS, Section 12.40.050 of the Orange Municipal Code states that the City
Council shall have full control over naming streets within the City of Orange; and
WHEREAS, the City Council has established written policies and procedures
whereby street names are created and changed; and
WHEREAS, pursuant to said policies and procedures, City staff intend to confirm
that South Manchester Avenue is the official street name assigned to certain street segment;
and
WHEREAS, the City Council has reviewed and considered the request and finds that
it should be approved.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED that the City Council hereby concurs in
the above findings; and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Council confirms that the street name
South Manchester Avenue is correct as shown on Exhibit "A" to this Resolution, and
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the Public Works Director is hereby directed to
implement this approval.
BE IT FURTHER RESOLVED that the City Clerk is hereby authorized and
directed to cause this Resolution to be recorded in the Office of the Orange County Recorder.
