A RESOLUTION OF THE CITY COUNCIL OF THE
CITY OF ORANGE RESCINDING RESOLUTION
NO. 10697, AND ADOPTING A REVISED MASTER
RESOLUTION OF PERMIT PARKING AREAS
WITHIN THE CITY OF ORANGE.
WHEREAS, Chapter 10.30 of the Orange Municipal Code authorizes the City
Council of the City of Orange to add or remove designated areas to the Neighborhood Permit
Parking Program by resolution; and
WHEREAS, the creation of a master resolution which contains all the permit parking
areas will compile all areas into a single document and eliminate the need to revise the
Orange Municipal Code every time an area is added or deleted from the Neighborhood
Permit Parking Program.
NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, by the City Council of the City of
Orange does resolve as follows:
Section I
The following streets be removed from Parking Permit Program Area R:
a) Both sides of Salinas Court easterly of Santa Maria Street from 7838 (south side)
and 7841 (north side) to the end of the cul -de -sac.
b) Both sides of San Luis Drive east of Santa Cruz Avenue from the beginning of
8132 (south side) and 8123 (north side) to the end of the cul -de -sac.
c) Both sides of Santa Cruz Avenue between San Luis Drive and Santa Maria Street
from 7902 Santa Cruz Avenue to the beginning of 8102 (south side) and 7901
Santa Cruz Avenue to 8123 San Luis Drive (north side).
The revised Neighborhood Parking Permit Area "R" will be:
a) Both sides of San Luis Drive from 7821 (north side) to Santa Cruz Avenue, and
from 7816 (south side) to the beginning of 8132.
b) 8102 and 8110 Santa Cruz Avenue (south side).
c) Both sides of Santa Maria Street between San Luis Drive and Santa Cruz Avenue.
Section II
That the Master Resolution of Permit Parking Area for the Neighborhood Permit
Parking program attached hereto as Exhibit "A" is adopted.
ADOPTED this 11 day of June, 2013.

Note: The Council stated that the outcome of the survey on Santa Maria Street resulted in
less than 55% being in favor of removal; therefore, Santa Maria Street will stay in Permit
Parking Area R.
