RESOLUTION 09 -15 EXPRESSING APPRECIATION TO WILLIAM J.
CATHCART FOR HIS THREE YEARS OF SERVICE TO THE CITY OF
ORANGE PLANNING COMMISSION

4. NEW HEARINGS:
4.1 CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT NO. 2965-14 — OGGI'S PIZZA EXPRESS
The applicant proposes to serve beer and wine at a new restaurant under an Alcohol
Beverage Control (ABC) Type 41 License.
LOCATION: 1500 E. VILLAGE WAY #2197
NOTE: The proposed project is categorically exempt from the provisions
of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) per State
Guidelines Section 15301 (Class 1 — Existing Facilities) because
the project consists of the operation and licensing of an existing
structure.
RECOMMENDED ACTION:
Adopt Planning Commission Resolution 10 -15 approving an ABC
Type 41 license for the purpose of selling beer and wine at a
restaurant.
Discussion: Kelly Christensen Ribuffo, Associate Planner, presented a project overview
consistent with the staff report.
Public Hearing was opened.
Art Rodriguez, applicant, explained the project and was available to answer any
questions the Commission might have.
Public Hearing was closed.
Motion was made to approve Conditional Use Permit 2965 -14 authorizing the sale
of alcoholic beverages (Type 41 License) and to remove Condition #22 prohibiting
"Happy Hours ":
