Chair Fox opened the Administrative Session at 5:04 p.m.
Chair Fox stated there was no Policy or Procedural information.
The Committee Members reviewed the meeting minutes from the Design Review Committee
meeting of January 15, 2014. Corrections and changes were noted.
Chair Fox made a motion to close the Administrative Session of the Design Review Committee
meeting.

Robert Imboden was nominated and elected for the Chair of the Design Review Committee.
Tim McCormack was nominated and elected for the Vice -Chair of the Design Review
Committee.
PUBLIC PARTICIPATION:
Opportunity for members of the public to address the Design Review Committee on matters not
listed on the Agenda.
There were no speakers.
CONSENT ITEMS:
Committee Member Wheeler made a motion to approve the minutes from the Design Review
Committee meeting of January 15, 2014, with the changes and corrections noted during the
Administrative Session.

DRC No. 4518 -10 — POMEROY DUPLEX
• A proposal to rehabilitate, construct an addition to an existing single family residence and
construct a new 2 -story unit.
• 468 North Olive Street (Old Towne Historic District)

• DRC Action: Recommendation to Planning Commission due to associated Conditional
Use Permit No. 2813 -10 for a 2 -story structure in the historic district
Anna Pehoushek, Principal Planner, presented a project overview consistent with the Staff
Report.
Leason Pomeroy, applicant, was present to answer any questions of the DRC regarding this
project.
Jeff Frankel, address on file, was present to express his opposition to the project.
Committee Member Woollett made a motion to continue DRC No. 4518 -10 with the following
suggestions for consideration:
• That the design of the addition suit reflect a visual style that is more complimentary to the
original house using an historic or eclectic style.
• Reduce FAR, the project introduced closer to .42.
• Provide more detail on the new porch.
• Additional information regarding detailing of the new components.

• A proposal to construct 58 new townhomes, on a vacant 3.95 acre triangular- shaped
parcel.
• South side of Washington Avenue, opposite its intersection with Hamlin Street

• DRC Action: Preliminary Review
Anne Fox, Staff Planner, presented a project to overview for preliminary review.
Doris Nguyen, Applicant, introduced her team. Names and addresses on file.
She gave an overall review of the project regarding description and the existing site for the
review of the Design Review Committee.
Public Comments:
None.
Chair Fox opened the item to the Committee for discussion.
Location, style, and landscaping of the project were the topics of discussion among Committee
Members and the applicant.
No motion was made.
