03.22 Notice of Completion Bid 178-271. SUBJECT
Final Acceptance of Bid No. 178 -27; W -684 Demolition of an Existing Water Reservoir at 189
S. Water Street Project; and authorization to file Notice of Completion with the County
Recorder.
2. SUMMARY
The City of Orange Water Division has entered into a contract with James McMinn, Inc. for the
Demolition of an Existing Water Reservoir at 189 S. Water Street. The work has been
completed to the satisfaction of the Water Division.
The demolition of the existing reservoir and associated chlorine building will create room for the
future replacement of the trailer currently serving as the field supervisors' office. This project
will also provide usable space to accommodate additional needed parking for City and employee
vehicles.
3. RECOMMENDED ACTION
It is recommended that the City Council take the following action:
1) Accept Bid No. 178 -27; W-684. Demolition of an Existing Water Reservoir at 189 S.
Water Street Project as complete.
2) Authorize staff to file Notice of Completion with the County Recorder.
