03.20 Notice of Completion Orange Park Acres Pavement1. SUBJECT
Final Acceptance of SP -4057; Pavement Maintenance in Orange Park Acres Project -
Construction (FYI 8).
2. SUMMARY
The City of Orange entered into a contract with PALP, Inc. dba Excel Paving Company for the
pavement rehabilitation of co -owned streets with the County that are in the Orange Park Acres in
conjunction with the County of Orange Job Order Contract. The selected streets for maintenance
with the County project are Amapola Avenue from 185' east of Orange Park Boulevard to
Ranchwood Trail and from 150' west of Ridgeline Road to Santiago Canyon Road and Meads
Avenue from 745' east of Orange Park Boulevard to 890' east of Orange Park Boulevard.
The work is complete to the satisfaction of the Public Works Department. The scope of work
includes but not limited to asphalt concrete grind and overlay and traffic striping.
3. RECOMMENDED ACTION
1) Accept as complete SP -4057 Pavement Maintenance in Orange Park Acres Project (FYI 8).
2) Authorize staff to file Notice of Completion with the County Recorder.
